NFS insecure?

the systems. We want to implement NFS on some of our servers, but for
some unknown reasons, security is not allowing us to do this. While I
have requested more information from security guys, I would like to get
some opinion from you gurus, as what could be the possible concerns of
security that you can have and also is there some way to minimize them?
or link to any site that has this information will be great too. Will
summarize and thanx in appreciation. -Raj
