Login Restriction

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to implement the Login restriction on sun machines based on
user name. What is the best way to do that.. I tried the TCP Wrappers but am
only able to restrict/allow logins based on hostnames and not user names.
This option works on linux ... what is the syntax/procedure for restriction
based on userid .
