hsfs filetype

Turns out my nightly "find" commands were looking at /cdrom which had a
GNU CD mounted, and there were Mac files or some such on the CD which the
kernel did not recognize.
I also apologize for not posting more info about my system (SS10,
4.1.4)... I was in a hurry to figure out if this was something Very Bad or
not.

You've probably got a CDROM mounted with some unsupported filetypes. The
message is from the hsfs driver which runs the CDROM filesystem.
I've seen these sort of messages when a CD with Macintosh applications
is mounted. The message appears each time a directory listing is done
on a directory containing an unknown filetype.
It's nothing to worry about.

looks like an incompatability between the sun hsfs FStype and the format
on the CDROM you've got. however, you don't say what OS your running,
what platform nor what CD this is.
