mountd -v on Solaris 10

Anyone know how I can start mountd with the -v option so it logs mount
requests to syslog - there's nothing in /etc/default as far as I can
see so currently my only options are:

(1) disbale the *nfs/server service in smf and then start nfsd and
mountd manually

(2) update the method script for nfs.server so that it starts mountd with -v

Have checked out docs.sun.com Sol 10 admin docs but they only mention
that mountd can be started with -v, not if there's a clean way to do
this within smf.

Thanks
