Long shot -- DVD burning

I've got to archive a lot of material off of one site to take to
another next week. We've just taken deliverly of three V100 desktops,
which ship with Firewire ports.

I don't suppose there's a sun firewire compatible DVD-R and CD-RW
writer available, is there? I know you canbuiy ones for Mac and PC ...
but is the firewire DVD burning a generic format? would these external
burners work on a sun client? we only need to archive data, not
watch/burn movies.
