solaris7 text editor problem

Hello Managers
We have a sun ultr10 workstation with solaris 2.7 OS.
problem:
when we try to spell check in a text editor file,the
process gets hanged and iam not able to close the
window. only option to close the window of text editor
is logout.This problem is only for users and in root
it is working fine.
