I/O error when copying from cdrom

Hi All,

I have an Ultra5, running 2.7 that is exhibiting a strange problem... I'm
trying to copy a file from the CD
to a local filesystem... After the file on the local file system reaches
the same file size as the original,
the command returns an "I/O error" and the file on the local system
disappears....

Anyone ever seen this before and/or know what would be causing this? The
CD works fine on a different
Ultra5.....
