OT informations request on sun ray server and it's thin clients

After looking around quite a bit and calling some folks I'm finding an
absolute dearth on information on anyone actually *using* the Sun Ray
server 1.3 (or well any version), the hot desktop, and the thin clients.
I'd be really interested to hear any technical feedback, maybe opinions
on it's feasability.
Please respond off list, and if there is interest I'll summarize.
