3300 upgrade

I've got a Sun storedge 3300 RAID that has a Solaris 8/Veritas 4.0 RAID
0+1 filesystem on it. Currently we have the RAID populates with 7 disks
(3 striped w/ parity on one side > mirrored to 3 striped disks w/ parity
on the other side with 1 logging/spare disk). We have purchased 5 more
disks to full populate the RAID (2 for each side of the mirror and 1
more logging/spare disk). I'm familiar w/ the Storedge D1000 RAID but I
don't know that much about the 3300. Are there any gotchas I should be
careful of while performing this upgrade? For instance, will the
Storedge automatically see the new drives or will I need to manually add
the LUNs etc.?
