3310 Array Event Error Messages

2007-12-25 6:00:00

Good Morning,

I have a V480 Server with an attached 3310 Array. Solaris 8 is installed and
on the RAID we have Firmware Version 325W and SCCLI Version 2.0. I noticed
in both the /var/adm/message log and also in the events log on the RAID that
we are frequently getting the following errors:

Apr 4 20:29:17 SUNWscsdMonitor [511]: [ID 371573 daemon.error] [SUNWscsd
0x010B1D0D: 0x00000000 Critical] <rctrl4000> Standard General Event,
Controller SDRAM ECC Single-bit Error Detected. [info: 12FD-0052187EB]
(Secondary, Sat Oct 24 18:25:51 2004) {Unique ID#: 003e45}

Apr 4 20:29:17 SUNWscsdMonitor [511]: [ID 230517 daemon.error] [SUNWscsd
0x010B1D0D: 0x00000000 Critical] <rctrl4000> Standard General Event,
Controller SDRAM ECC Single-bit Error Detected. [info: 12FE-0052187F3]
(Secondary, Sat Oct 24 18:25:52 2004) {Unique ID#: 003e45}

Apr 4 21:55:38 SUNWscsdMonitor [511]: [ID 530273 daemon.error] [SUNWscsd
0x010B1D0D: 0x00000000 Critical] <rctrl4000> Standard General Event,
Controller SDRAM ECC Single-bit Error Detected. [info: 12FF-0052229E5]
(Secondary, Sat Oct 24 19:52:14 2004) {Unique ID#: 003e45}

When I run a show fru in sccli it shows the RAID status as ok for all parts.
Also, there are no failure led lights or alarms indicating a failing
controller. The date for the secondary is showing 2004 which does not make
sense either. Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Bob
