OT: Error while encapsulating the bootdisk under veritas volume mnager

Hi,

While encapsulating a boot disk, we are encoutering a strange problem.

While booting after reconsfiguration. The server tries to start vxconfigd & gives an error saying

Fatal error libdevid.so.1 not found.

This library is present in /usr/lib.

I also tried modifying startup script which starts vxconfigd. But i don't think its a problem there.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Pls help
