solstice Disksuite installation problem

We'd like to install the Solstice DiskSuite package on an E250 server under
Solaris 2.6 HW 5/98.
We insert the Solaris CD in the CD-ROM drive and search where the SDS
package is located. We are logged as root.
The find command gives us the following directory:
/cdrom/sol_2_6_598_sparc_smcc_dt/s0/.bbi/products/pkg.
Then we enter the following command:
#pkgadd -d /cdrom/sol_2_6_598_sparc_smcc_dt/s0/.bbi/products/pkg/SUNWmd
We get the following error message:
pkgadd: ERROR: attempt to process datastream failed
- bad format in datastream table-of-contents
Sometimes it gives us the following error:
pkgadd: Could not process datastream from
</cdrom/sol_2_6_598_sparc_smcc_dt/s0/.bbi/products/pkg>
open of </cdrom/sol_2_6_598_sparc_smcc_dt/s0/.bbi/products/pkg>
failed, errno=2.
