IDN on Solaris 2.6?

Would anyone be aware out there if it is possible for E10K domains running
Solaris 2.6 to have inter domain networking (IDN) to fully utilise the
E10K's backplane? Also, how stable is it for actual production use in
Solaris 2.8?
