IDPROM contents are invalid

Hi,

I have an Ultra 10 that is giving me trouble - I wonder if the prom is
fried?

In the banner the Ethernet Address displays as all f's : ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

In the banner the Host ID displays as all f's too: ffffff

I get the error: The IDPROM contents are invalid

I get kicked back to the ok prompt.

I can boot and use the the system by issuing the boot disk command at the ok
prompt

Any idea's?
