console server causing bad logins

I have multiple Sun servers (U5, E250, E450) connected to a WTI CMS-16
console server. In my syslogs. I'm seeing constant error messages
about failed login attempts on /dev/console. I've basically ruled out
foul play since I'm the only one with access to the console server. I
get the feeling this is a configuration problem on the console server
but I want to rule out a problem on the Sun side.
