/var

I'm running solaris 2.6, /var is 100%, but when I clear out some space
it still show's 100% ? Only work around is to reboot system, then fsck
detects error (fixes them) then shows appropriate usage after system
comes back up (df). Does anyone know of a reason to this or a fix ?
