Sendmail and Virtual IP address

I have :
* A solaris box with two virtual ip addresses (let's say ip1 and
ip2 : ip1 was the original one, teh ip2 is what I added)
* VirtualHosts in tha same server (+Apache) some with ip1 and some
with ip2
* From sites with VirtualHosts on IP1 can send emails (using php
scripts), but those on IP2 can't
I know that's a problem likely related to sendmail, and not PHP
any help please?
